Safety Manager

Job Summary:

You are responsible for ensuring workplace safety across the region by implementing and managing safety programs, conducting evaluations, and providing training. This role involves proactive problem-solving, compliance with safety regulations, and collaboration with internal teams to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support branch staff in evaluating safety programs, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring compliance.
• Conduct safety training for employees and customers at various locations.
• Motivate and develop field personnel to uphold safety standards.
• Ensure operations align with corporate social responsibility and safety performance goals.
• Manage and communicate regulatory agency inspections and site visits to senior leadership.
• Conduct annual location safety evaluations, prepare reports, and assist with action plan development and follow-up.
• Investigate employee incidents, determine causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Act as a liaison between internal departments and external organizations regarding audits and compliance.
• Assist with safety requirements for new location startups.
• Continue professional development through training, seminars, and industry conferences.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Safety or a related field, or progress toward completion of a degree.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and transportation regulations.
• Experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-performance teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Salary:

Base salary: $85,000 - $105,000 plus bonus structure.
