Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

You will play a crucial role in warehouse and production operations by safely handling materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient workflow. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks, to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments safely from trucks and containers.
• Conduct pre-use inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Organize and store materials efficiently to optimize warehouse space.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse and production operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar material handling role preferred.
• Valid OSHA-approved Forklift Operator Certification is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various shift schedules.

Salary:

$18.30 per hour
