Personal Training Department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of personal trainers.
• Drive business performance by achieving department revenue and client retention goals.
• Maintain a strong presence on the fitness floor to engage members and support trainers.
• Ensure trainers uphold company standards in service delivery, programming, and client engagement.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor new trainers to maintain a strong team culture.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous development.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to optimize department success.
• Collaborate with club leadership to align strategies with overall business goals.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience through proactive engagement and service.
• Manage administrative duties related to scheduling, payroll, and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Nationally recognized Personal Training certification required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• 3-5 years of experience in personal training, fitness management, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in team development and performance management.
• Strong business acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for health, fitness, and member engagement.
